Ansel Adams was born on February 20, 1902, in San Francisco, California. Growing up in San Francisco, Adam had a troubled childhood. His interest in photography began when he started experimenting on his trip to Yosemite National Park. His interest grew as he learned about darkroom techniques, attended camera club meetings, and went to photography and art exhibits. He developed and sold his early photographs at Best's Studio in Yosemite Valley. Through the years of 1929 and 1942, Adam's work and reputation grew. Most of his work was focused on landscape scenery, using large-format cameras for their high resolution, which ensured sharpness in his images. Adam's famous photos were often taken in San Francisco and Yosemite. Unfortunately, he suffered from a heart attack and died on April 22, 1984.
I think Ansel Adams work is absolutely inspiring. I'm an outdoor person and love the nature, and seeing his and how he truly captures the natural beauty of nature is amazing. The clarity and focus of his work truly stands out, whether its a colored or a black and white photo.

Şenol Zorlu is a Turkish photographer, who lives and works in Germany. Aside from being a photographer, Zorlu is also a researcher for street children at the PH in Heidelberg. He seeks to explore ethnographical photography on the base of scientific research methods. Zorlu often travels to different places to capture images that emphasize on people with different cultures. In his work, Zorlu often uses pink lines that pass through his photographs. This is his method of maintaining ownership of his work.
Şenol Zorlu is sort of a rare photographer. There's not much information on him, but rather his work. He is represented and known through his photographs. I think it fascinating how he captures the different aspects of people's lives and their cultures. His work is inspiring, because with his pictures, he opens eyes for others to become familiar with other cultures.

.Edward Henry Weston's photography is simple, yet they stand out. It's inspiring to see how a simple subject and photo can have so much meaning. His work varies from natural forms and close-ups to nudes and landscapes. I think its amazing to see how his work contains variety of different subjects that are in black and white.
